Why did we choose the name "Ea"

Ea in Babylonian mythology (Enki-Sumerian) is one of the three most powerful gods in the Mesopotamian pantheon and the Middle East culture. He resides in the ocean underneath the earth called the Abzu, which was an important place in Mesopotamian cosmic geography.
City of Babylon, the capital of the ancient world, was said to have been built on top of the Abzu.
Ea was the patron of wisdom, magic word, healing, arts and crafts, and all other achievements of civilization. He also was the creator and protector of humanity in the Babylonian Flood myth Atra-hasīs and the Epic of Gilgameš.
This master of knowledge who organized the world is an inspirational figure in promoting better understanding between the West and the East.

Achievements

Besides working hand-in-hand in the educational field with many credible non-profit organizations in Metro-Detroit, including the Chaldean Educational Center of America www.Chaldean4u.org a pro-US Army organization, EA-SRC has extended its influence and academic work inside the US and abroad.
EA-SRC’s latest achievement was the approval and the implementation of the academic study entitled Chaldean Legacy/STARTTS - Chaldean Consultation Report, which took placein September 2015. This mixed history and social study was requested by the Australian social services organization STARTTS in collaboration with the Chaldean Educational Center of America. The report, of which its cornerstone was the EA-SRC, helped in recognizing Chaldeans of Australia as an ethnic group. To learn more visit the links below:
